LCHC ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT 2021
Overview
The Latino Coalition for a Healthy California is the only Latinx-led statewide policy and advocacy organization protecting and advancing Latinx health equity. This report highlighted the contributions and advocacy LCHC made during COVID-19 for the Latinx community in 2021.

Role
During my time at LCHC as a fellow I worked alongside their Communications Manager to develop the organization’s graphic standard, and annual report layout design. I followed the organization’s existing branding guidelines to create an annual report layout that encompassed LCHC's branding identity.
I developed the primary template on InDesign then uploaded them for the organization’s internal team to add content information as needed. In addition to this project, I contributed to scheduling posts/copywriting, creating social media illustrations, and video promotions.

FINAL TAKEAWAYS
I am truly thankful for my time at LCHC, as a designer who believes that design should be intersectional and inclusive, working with an organization that prioritizes community first was a great collaborative experience. I was able to use my knowledge of social policy to design culturally relevant assets that aligned with LCHC's mission. I learned how to work with quick and the changing deadlines and copywriting social media posts for a non-profit organization.
